If you have any questions during this time, you can contact us at the email below: Please include your order number with any correspondence.
5. WHY SHOULD I HAVE MY PEDAL MODIFIED? Firstly, you have to understand that commercially produced pedals are made for only one reason, and that is to generate income for the companies that manufacture them. If a company can save three dollars per pedal sold, and then sells one hundred thousand pedals a year, they're going to save three hundred thousand dollars. This translates into a rather healthy dividend for their share holders and justifies their CEO's exuberant wages. Secondly, these pedals are designed by electronic engineers and not by guitar players. Do you really think the folks in white coats that think up the scores of new and wonderful guitar pedals each year, really care whether you've got the best guitar sound in town? I don't think so.
6. SHOULDN'T I JUST THROW OUT THESE GENERIC PEDALS AND BUY A HAND MADE BOUTIQUE PEDAL? No! Because it's not the actual pedal that's the problem. It's the parts that have gone into it. Once we remove the cheap parts and replace them with top quality components, you'll be surprised how amazing your commercially produced pedal will sound.
7. MY PEDAL ISN'T SHOWN ON YOUR WEBSITE, CAN IT BE MODIIFIED? Some pedals are almost impossible to modify. They use Surface Mount Technology which is almost microscopic and far too delicate to work with. In order to know if your pedal can be modified or not, we need to see two things. Firstly a photo of the inside of the pedal and secondly the electrical schematic of the pedal. To get the photo all you have to do is gently open it up and photograph the pedals insides. This is easy with most pedals but can be quite complicated with others. Be careful not to damage anything. The schematic on the other hand can be quite difficult to find. I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer and asking them nicely for the schematic. In most cases they will oblige.
8. CAN MY PEDAL BE CONVERTED TO TRUE-BYPASS? Yes, theoretically any pedal can be converted to true bypass. But in most cases the cost far out ways the benefits. You'd be much better of purchasing a True Bypass Looper. For those of you who don't fully understand True Bypass ARTICLE:
9. WHAT IS THE TURN-AROUND TIME? Most pedals will be modified within five working days, subject to the availability of parts.
10. WHAT IS YOUR PHONE NUMBER? Mob: 0428 27 11 66 ( Australian residents only ).

12. WHAT COUNTRIES WILL YOU SHIP TO? We will ship to any country.
13. WHAT MAKES YOUR MODIFICATIONS BETTER THAN THE OTHER MODIFICATIONS AVAILALBE? At Von Lehmann Engineering, the modifications are performed by musicians not electrical engineers. These modified pedals are then use within the recording industry to see how they perform. Only when we are satisfied that we've achieved the best possible result are the modifications offered to the public.
14. DO YOU MODIFY PEDALS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN MODIFIED? Sure, if you have a pedal that's been modified by someone else and you don't like the sound contact us to see what we can offer. Remember though, the pedal must be in working order.
