Once again this is caused by the use of inferior parts and those 1N4148 diodes that pedal manufactures love to use.
When developing the Von Lehmann China Syndrome , we replace those stupid 4148's, this gives the pedal a much fuller distortion and makes it more dynamic to your playing style. Notes and Chords seem to jump right out of your speakers.
We then replace the low quality parts and redesigned the EQ stage. This removes that annoying nasal quality and gives the EQ much more range. The tonal potential of this pedal after it’s been modified in just astounding.
